Ms Golda Asante, the Eastern Region focal person on HIV/AIDS has called for networking and co-ordination of activities among organisations engaged in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
Addressing a meeting of the Eastern Region branch of the Ghana HIV/AIDS Network (GHANET) at Koforidua, she said networking would avoid the duplication of efforts, promote sharing of experiences and resources and ensure proper strategising.
Ms Asante reminded the groups that it was only by networking that they would be able to attract funding and support to enhance their work.
Mr Sam Anyimedu Amaning, the national chairman of GHANET, advised the members to be innovative in their work.
