As part of efforts by the chief and people of Nungua to develop their area, the Nugua Manste, Nii Odehe Kpakpa Odaifio Welentsi 111 and the Ooborbu Wulomor have donated building materials worth 1.25 million cedis towards the completion of the St. Peter's Anglican Senior Secondary in the town.

Presenting the items, the Nungua Mantse Welentsi 111 said the presentation was in response of an appeal made by the school to the town to support them to complete the building.

He added that the items formed part of the effort by the community to enhance education in the area. He therefore called for a cordial relationship between traditional leaders and Christians to help the school achieve its aim.

On his part, the priest in charge of St Peter's Anglican Church, Rev. Fr. Ofori Ankrah congratulated the chief and people of Nungua on their support towards the completion of the school.

He said the school, since it inception in October 2003, had only two classrooms and 123 students offering just two programs.
