Nana Arhin Duah scored his third goal of the season to give Kumasi Asante Kotoko a hard fought win at the Gyandu Park, as the league leaders ended the unblemished home record of Hasaacas.

The porcupine warriors were given early scare when Hasaacas striker, John Ainoo gave the home team a third minute lead.

John Ainoo, who scored the goal for his side took advantage of a defensive blunder in Kotoko's penalty area and blasted a shot that flew past goalkeeper Mohammed Habib. Hasaacas seemingly became complacent after the goal and allowed Kotoko to fight back, looking for the equalizer. Although the performance of Hasaacas dipped midway through the first half, Kotoko failed to establish any meaningful chance though they soared in possession.

As the game went on, Kotoko pressed the throttle harder and forced Hasaacas into a defensive posture till the end of the first half.

In the second half, Kotoko piled up pressure on Hasaacas and in the 60th minute, the hosts' defense gave up, and George Yamoah scored to draw level for Kotoko.

Before Hasaacas could get over the shock, Nana Arhin Duah added another goal for the visitors in the 65th minute. Hasaacas tried to find their feet again, but Kotoko intensified their efforts to consolidate their lead.

At the Ohene Djan sports stadium in Accra, Lawrence Adjei found target to secure Hearts of Oak the three points at the expense of Bofoakwa Tano. The winger's goal keeps the Phobians chase for the title on course with fifty-three points. Ashanti Gold lost 2-0 to Berekum Arsenals, while Okwawu United forced a 1-1 draw out of King Faisal at the Baba Yara stadium in Kumasi.

In Swedru, an own goal by defender, Yaw Nyarko, helped home side; Feyenoord to a 1-1 draw with Heart of Lions after Daniel Obechi had put Lions ahead. Liberty Professionals suffered a dip in fortune, as they stumbled to a 2-0 defeat against Real Tamale United at the Kaladan Park.

Kade Hotspurs lifted themselves off the bottom rung on the chart with a 1-0 win over Power FC at the Kade Park, while Real Sportive settled for a 1-1 draw with Ebusua Dwarfs in Tema.
