ONEtouch comes-up with I-Share Unit Transfer

Maame Efua Moses | Posted: Monday, February 20, 2006

Onetouch has hit the Ghanaian mobile market with a new service called the ONEtouch i-share unit transfer.

The service is a "person to person" unit transfer service. It allows Onetouch pre-paid customers to transfer unit from their phone to other Onetouch prepaid customers directly.

Explaining the concept to the ADM, Mr. Stephen Kofi Badu, the Head of Marketing for Onetouch said that the procedure for transferring units to another ONEtouch prepaid customer's phone was simply. To transfer, dial *116* recipient's number* value of units*1234#* and press OK or send.

The sender then receives a confirmation of his transaction, and then would be asked to confirm by pressing 1 or cancel by pressing 2.

Mr. Badu further stated that the introduction of the ONEtouch i-share units transfer was in line with the policy of ONEtouch to be responsive and sensitive to customers needs. "Talking to customers, we hear them express the desire to share their units with members of their families especially children in school", he explained.

Against this background, this new product introduced by ONEtouch is meant to make it easy and convenient to customers to show some love to friends and loved ones without hassle.
